This journey started five years ago while searching from a quality organic wood conditioner to use at home; something with local beeswax, herbs, organic oils, and ingredients grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, or petroleum derived products. Becoming more conscious of the environmental impact and safety of cleaning products is of more concern today than ever before.
- With a professional background as a museum conservator in Europe, Middle East, Kenya and Ethiopia I developed Annie’s Wax with organic beeswax collected in the Masai Mara and Laikipia regions. Today, Annie’s Wax offers an innovative line of organic, biodegradable, environmentally safe, and high quality products for the house and for the body.
- Annie’s wax conditioner is recommended for wood, leather, metal, tiles, natural stones and antiques. It helps polish and restore artifacts and furniture from the effects of physical and chemical degradation (light, humidity, fungi) while caring for and enhancing their natural quality and value.
- We produce three types of soaps: the “green tea soap” (for sensitive and baby skins), the “coconut bomb” for the body, full of coconut oil and flakes, and the saw dust soap (heavy duty hands cleaner).
- Our scented beeswax melts do not contain paraffin, artificial fragrance and preservative. When heated beeswax purifies the air so it helps people with asthma, allergies and hay fever by removing contaminants from the air.
